The question is really what are you looking to fish for? I offer light tackle inshore fishing trip's for redfish, trout, snook, black drum, and small tarpon. Talk to me, and let me know what your expectations are. This way I can plan the best trip we can for you. Please keep in mind that the season and weather can dictate what we are able to target. Redfish, sea trout, and black drum can be found year round inside the Mosquito Lagoon. During the summer and fall months I offer night time snook fishing in the sebastion area. Small tarpon move into the creeks and flats during the summer months. These fish run from five to fifty pounds.

Depending on the length of charter consider bringing snacks, drinks, camera, hat, and a rain jacket if the weather looks like rain. The skiff is equipped with an ice chest for your food and drinks and is always filled with bottled water and fresh ice. A good pair of polarized glasses is also key when sight fishing. Please pack light when packing for your trip, there is very limited space on the boat for extra's. Please, no extra coolers on the boat. Please keep in mind that your on a fishing trip, not a sight seeing tour.

No. I cover all of your fishing licenses that you will need while fishing here on the Space Coast. I am a licensed Guide inside of the Canaveral National Seashore, and Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge, as well as a U.S.C.G six pack approved Captain. And all of my charters are fully insured. I am also first aid and CPR certified.

Most of the fishing is done with artificials as well as live bait on light spinning tackle. Depending on your skill level I will work with you through out the day to help you spot the fish, and make the perfect cast. You have to keep in mind that the days conditions may dictate how we fish.

Depending on what you are looking to chase on the flat's, every month is great in that it brings us something a little different to fish for. Our Lagoons are special in the fact that most of our redfish, black drum and trout never leave our lagoons to go offshore and spawn. That means you can find fish year round inside the Lagoons for redfish, trout, and black drum.

Spring and summer months you can find schools of redfish in the 20-40 pound range tailing on the flat's in 2-4 foot of water. Tarpon move onto the flat's as well as the snook. During the spring and fall mullet runs, anglers can look foward to that slam three, even a few grand slams in the Sebastian back waters on light tackle.

Fall and winter months the water become's gin clear from the cooler water temps and the sight fishing is at it's best. The shrimp spawn on the flat's really fires up the redfish, and black drum bite. You will also find black drum tailing in super shallow water. The tarpon are gone, and the snook get very picky around the cold fronts.

Many people ask if they can keep a few fish for the grill later, the answer is yes. I do encourage catch and release fishing with my clients. This helps reduce the strain on our fishery and will greatly ensure our future success in fishing. If you're looking to mount that prize fish I suggest you use www.globalfishmounts.com. If you plan to keep a couple for dinner I will clean, ice, and bag them after your trip free of charge. Its best to bring a small cooler that can stay inside yout car until your trip is over.

I use several ramps during the year where I trailer the boat back and fourth to the ramps. The ramp we will meet at will depend on the fishing conditions around the time of your charter. I try to launch the boat where we will be fishing on your trip, this way you spend more time fishing, and less time driving around.
